Each year Special Events Magazine, the largest event industry magazine in the world, recoginize the top industry leaders by awarding them the best in their field. PRI Productions was nominated for "Best Achievement in Logitices" for their presentation of "Celebrate America" a half time show that they produced for a Jacksonville Jaguars game.

PRI Productions designed a patriotic themed halftime show The show featured four local talented singers, custom staging, custom sound tracks, video animations, over 500 volunteers in which some of them unfurled 875 yards of red, white and blue material one stripe at a time to create a 90 foot by 120 foot American Flag, over 200 handheld confetti cannons, huge inflatables of the Statue of LIberty, the Liberty Bell, an American Eagle, six 16' inflatable stars, a F-16 Fighter Jets fly over and fireworks to complete the celebration.

PRI Productions was nominated and went through three rounds of judging by international event professionals and made the cut to the final top three. Randy Goodwin, president and owner of PRI Productions, was then notified of the results and invitied to participate in the 2004 Gala Awards that was held this past Friday in Las Vegas at the Mandaly Bay Resort where the winner would be announced.

"I can't believe that we won", said Randy Goodwin, "There are so many exceptional events that are held in the world by event professionals and for us to make the cut to the final three was amazing enough but for us to win the award was more that I could have ever imagined. Wayne Weaver and the Jaguars have been so good to my company and me by allowing us to venture out to produce our first halftime show. We pitched the idea to them and they gave us a chance", said Goodwin. "I couldn't be more proud of the faith they put in us.The staff of PRI, singers, performers and volunteers worked so hard to make this dream a reality and I am so proud to let them know their work was recognized by the leaders in the event industry. This recognition is truly an honor."

"I am so proud of them", said Wayne Weaver, owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars, "I always had confindence in Randy and his company and for them to receive this recognition by the industry is something that really doesn't surprise me. They are a great company and a great partner: Now everyone knows what we always knew, they are truly the best when it comes to event production."

In August of 2003 in San Diego, Event Solutions Magazine recognized Randy Goodwin as a top finalist in for "Event Producer of the Year" and Derek Eaton, Vice President of Special Events for PRI Productions as a top finalist for "Rising Star" .
